Welcome back to another episode of Delilah’s Diner! In this video, I role-play as your mommy taking care of you when you are sick by making her famous turkey bone soup broth. You can use this recipe to make any soup that calls for chicken broth or use broth instead of water when cooking rice. It also freezes extremely well! Recipe:
Turkey Carcass 2 Ribs of Celery 2 Carrots 1 Medium Onion 2 Cloves Garlic 2 Bay Leaves Handful Black Peppercorns Fresh Parsley Water Directions: 1. Add turkey carcass to a large pot (or your instant pot insert). 2. Roughly chop the celery, carrots and onion. Smash garlic. 3. Add all chopped ingredients, garlic, bay leaves, peppercorns and parsley. 4. Cover the carcass entirely with water. 5. Simmer on stove for at least 2 hours or set your instant pot to soup setting for 60 minutes with 25+ minute natural release. 6. Strain and save the broth to make all your favorite soups with or just drink straight!
