The end of the year is approaching, which also means it's once again time for an employee review. This time it's a debut for the highly motivated employee Daniela, who knows how to do something more interesting in front of the screen than doing the stuff she should do. After she clarified to me that I was the one who hired her (which must be entirely made up), we tried to have a productive and solution-oriented conversation, how to improve her performance.
