It's really important to have good flexibility throughout life to have good mobility as you get older. Most of us go through various injuries and body struggles. Some of us have a lot more issues. I may look normal on the outside but I have a connective tissue disorder that makes me overly flexible but stiff at the same time. I am unable to heal joints and any injury like a normal person and so I have had many surgeries. I LOVE listening to my body. She tells me where we need to stretch and increase strength. Many with my disease are already using canes and walkers at my age. I keep fighting for my mobility. There was a time I couldn't hardly walk .. thought my life was over after the car accident. Lost my career as a nurse. The chronic pain consumed me. In particular I struggle with integumentary, joints, and gut health as well as having the Excessive dislocations at all joints especially on the right side. Do you have a hard time with your body?
